All safe and well, just had text from guys to say they are descending from last summit. Yachts are returning for shelter, we know others have bolted to gigha to ride things out. Are going to get the boys back and hole up till the worst is past, then its race time! Should prove fun as it packs the fleet back together!

Good idea to stay put for a while. As you say it will really add an extra bit of excitement to the race when you all set off together.

Hope you haven't run out of chukkie bags yet -sitting watching the forecast on the west coast is a bit alarming! At least you won't be having to rig up any oars but hope things improve soon -keep going.
